When time comes to an end, will God be finished with the church? The Bible shows that our role will continue into eternity. “If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.” 1 Corinthians 15:19 (English Standard Version)

The Lord’s church is not a last-minute substitute for an earthly kingdom; prophecies in the Old Testament make this clear. “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” Psalm 118:22 (English Standard Version)
As Jesus works to make “all things new” in the lives of His people, their view of material goods must change. “Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.” Proverbs 22:9 (English Standard Version)
Moses’ response to God’s call from the burning bush is a model of how we should respond to God’s call to us.
Some who believe in God don’t think He has had any role in human history. What should we think?
Jesus shed His blood long ago to cleanse our sins. So how can we apply that blood to our souls?
What is our ultimate goal in life? Christ makes “all things new” – including what we seek above all else.
