Growing Pains! On Wednesday evening we experienced technical difficulties with our new equipment, and so the YouTube broadcast was lost early into the auditorium class, though Facebook Live was restored.  Our Tech Team is working on the issues, and hopefully all will be worked out by Sunday.  Our two Zoom classes on Wednesday evening had 31 devices connected.

Communion Supplies Are Available for those who continue to worship with us from home.  Call the church office to find a time to come pick up what you need.  If you can’t get out, please allow us to bring the supplies to you.

Restrictions Eased: All who are 65 or older are now welcome to come to Sunday morning worship provided you don’t have health conditions that put you at heightened risk.  It is not a sin to stay home if you have compromising health conditions or if you’re just uneasy about getting out.  Also, families with children ages 10 and older are welcome to attend, but please keep your households seated together, and maintain control of your children.  Children are expected to wear face coverings while inside our building, as are all adults.

Have You Taken The Survey that we sent out on Wednesday?  It’s only one question, and we’re trying to be prepared for those who plan to attend on Sunday morning.  Go to this site and take the survey if you haven’t already.

More Helpers Needed:Brandon Quesinberry is looking for individuals to help with our online children’s Bible classes.  This can either be helping with preparing materials for teachers to use, or as a facilitator for the online classes.  Contact Brandon if you can help or would like to know more.

Can You Help?Patti Fatherree sends this request: “I have a family in need of a car seat-not the infant size but one that is rear facing and then can turn around for front facing. Child is not yet a year old, but too big for the infant carrier style (which is what they have now).”  Contact Patti if you can help with this.  Patti works with families in need in our community through her work with the Johnson City School System.

Bonnie Franklin is scheduled to undergo outpatient cataract surgery today.  Our prayers for a successful outcome have been requested.

Karen Stevens was to have undergone a procedure on Wednesday to remove fluid from a lung to help her with her breathing.  We have had no report on how things went.  Keep our sister in your prayers.

Ken Richardson, brother-in-law of Shatoya Bagley, is hospitalized in Ocala, Florida with severe heart complications.  Shatoya and Tony have asked that we pray for his recovery and health.

The mother of Kate Frakes, daughter-in-law of Sheila and David Frakes, came through her triple heart bypass surgery on Wednesday in Austalia, and all went well.  Sheila and David send their thanks for the prayers offered for her.

Ashley Doyle is recovering at home from spinal fusion surgery that was done last week.  Our prayers for her continued healing and relief have been requested.

Charles Lankford, father of Stacy Rice, has been hospitalized in Texas for the last several days with a bacterial infection in his blood that caused him to go into septic shock.  This has led to other problems that have resulted in him being on dialysis.  Stacy asks for our prayers as difficult decisions must be made about his care.

Sam Haywood, uncle of Tim Haywood who lives in Texas, has been diagnosed with COVID-19.  Tim asks that we pray for Sam’s improvement, especially as he is not a Christian.

This Is Love:  *  “Love is when the other person’s happiness is more important than your own.”  (H. Jackson Brown, Jr.)  *  “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.”  (1 Corinthians 13:4,5)
