Remember These In Prayer:

Roger Witherspoon was to have undergone an outpatient procedure on Friday to break up scar tissue in the knee that was replaced last year.  We had no update on how things went, but let’s continue to pray for proper healing and relief from pain.

Skylar Strong, daughter of Judy Strong, is going through tests and consultations as doctors search for answers for her renal failure.  Pray for God’s blessings to be upon our young sister.

Jonathan French is recovering from foot surgery on Wednesday.  He will need to keep weight off that foot for about six weeks.

Paul Hamilton will undergo a heart ablation procedure on April 2.

Kristin England’s grandfather is going through some difficult times.  He has been receiving treatments for multiple myeloma, and recently developed heart issues.  She asks that we pray for God’s help to get him through these challenges.

Tommy Gray, the last surviving sibling of June Selby, remains under hospice care in Jasper, Alabama.  He is mostly sleeping now, reported Fred Selby on Thursday, and is not expected to live much longer.  Pray for God’s comfort to be upon him, and to bless June with peace and joyful memories.

Kathy Kidwell, resident of Watauga Square Apartments who was baptized last June, was discharged on Friday from NHC Health Care after a few weeks of rehab for a broken leg.  She is doing better, but must still be off the leg for awhile longer.  She sends her thanks to all for prayers, cards, and visits.

Lucy Hagerty is now at home as she continues her recovery from surgery on her leg and from a painful spinal condition.  She requests that there be no visitors for now.

Thelma Wolfe, mother of Eugene Wolfe, was hospitalized earlier this week with abdominal issues, but is now back home.

Several from Central’s youth group, along with Megan and Greg Ryan, are at the annual SOAR Youth Rally in Augusta, Georgia.  Pray for their safety, health, and spiritual growth.  (You can learn more about this event, hosted by the Central Church of Christ in Augusta, by clicking here.)

One Week From Tomorrow we will engage in a covered dish fellowship meal after morning worship.  We urge everyone to be present for excellent fellowship and food.  Bring enough food for you and your family, and a little extra for our guests.  (A large number of Gene Arrowood’s family from Nashville will also be present to help celebrate his 90th birthday!  They plan to bring dishes for the meal.)

Shopping For SOS: We’re currently receiving bags of cleaning and personal hygiene items to be distributed on Saturday, May 4 at our annual “Streams Of Sharing” event.  Many neighbors from our community will be present; will you help us prepare to help them?  See the list of needed items in this week’s bulletin.

Big Birthday Coming: Former Central member Virginia Crowder will celebrate her 95th birthday on April 12.  Her daughter Jan hopes that many from Central will send their greetings; their address is 1909 Liberty Square, Nashville, TN, 37215.

Our Future Self?  *  “We know what we are, but know not what we may be.”  (William Shakespeare)  But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”  (2 Peter 3:18)
