Daily Bible Reading: Job 40:1 – 41:34 (“Dress for action like a man; I will question you, and you make it known to me.”)

This Week’s Memory Verse:Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”  Ephesians 4:32

Remember These In Prayer:

Jonathan French came through his foot surgery on Wednesday, and is now recovering at home.  Pray for God’s blessings on our brother, that he may heal quickly and be relieved of pain.

Skylar Strong, 19-year-old daughter of Judy Strong, was to have undergone an MRI on Wednesday, as doctors search for the cause of her renal failure.  She is scheduled to meet with a specialist today to discuss the findings of tests that have been done.

Roger Witherspoon is scheduled to undergo an outpatient procedure on Friday to break up scar tissue in the knee that was replaced in October.

Ron Tester remains under hospice care at his home as his symptoms from the brain tumor slowly worsen.  He asked that we send his thanks for all of the prayers that have been offered for him and Bandy.

Jazmine Ryan, daughter of Megan and Greg Ryan, is dealing with difficult emotions following some adjustments in her medications.  Pray that she will soon be given peace and stability.

Kristin England’s grandfather is going through some difficult times.  He has been receiving treatments for multiple myeloma, and recently developed heart issues.  She asks that we pray for God’s help to get him through these challenges.

“Wholly Following God” is the theme of a Ladies Day that will be held here at Central two weeks from Saturday, April 6.  Ladies may register for the morning’s events by clicking on this link; you may also indicate on that page if you will need child care.  Invite your friends to come with you.

A “Senior Rally” will be hosted by the Karns Church of Christ in Knoxville on Saturday, March 30.  You can see more details on the day’s activities by going to this site.  Let’s have a group from Central attend this day of activity; email or call me if you’re interested in going.

Bags Are Coming In!  On Saturday, May 4 Central will host “Streams Of Sharing”, an outreach to our community.  One way we can help is by offering bags full of cleaning supplies.  For each bag we need the following items: 1 all-purpose cleaner; 1 dish soap; 1 laundry soap; 1 pack of bar soap (3-4 count); 1 shampoo; 1 pack of toilet paper (4 count); 1 tube of toothpaste; 1 reusable bag / tote with handle.  If purchased at Dollar Tree, your total cost is only $8.

Prison Outreach – For Women: Click here and you’ll be taken to a story featured in The Christian Chronicle in January of this year telling about the work of prison ministry for women.  Many who are incarcerated come from difficult circumstances, and many of these gladly receive opportunities to find a new life.  Here at Central we already have some sisters involved in the Pen Pal program, and others working with “justice involved” women in our community.  For more information on where you can fit in, speak with Debbie Ingram, Arlene Kellum, or Marshall Danby.  (Thanks to Louise Clites for bringing this story to our attention.)

Courage To Step Out:  *  “You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.”  (Christopher Columbus)  *  “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.”  (Hebrews 11:8)
