Remember These In Prayer:

Heidi Elliott came through her heart ablation procedure well on Wednesday afternoon.  Paul reported, “Heidi’s procedure was successful with no apparent complications. … Please thank everyone for prayers, cards, emails, and well wishes.”  If all goes well she will be discharged to go home later today.

Christina Elliott continues to recover from her surgery on Tuesday, and all is reportedly going well.  There is a chance she will be discharged to go home today.  Please no phone calls or visits for now.

Bob Patton is scheduled to undergo hip replacement surgery on Monday, March 11, at Johnson City Medical Center.  He would appreciate prayers for all to go well.

Linda Russell expects to hear from her surgeon on Friday regarding the date for her heart valve replacement surgery.  She will have this done at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

Campbell Kellum, son of Arlene and Danny, was feeling much better today after being diagnosed on Tuesday with gastroenteritis.  He returned to Knoxville Wednesday evening to resume his studies at the University of Tennessee.

Brandon Quesinberry asked for prayers Wednesday evening as he deals with stress in his life; he recently experienced a panic attack.  He asks that we pray for God’s peace to be upon him.

Carol Melton is scheduled to meet with her surgeon today to learn the results of the biopsy taken in her recent surgery.  Carol is a former member of Central who now lives in Montgomery, Alabama.

Ben Crossman, former Central member, is losing peripheral vision in his left eye, we learned yesterday.  This may be due to inflammation of his brain which was caused by Hashimoto’s Disease which he contracted last summer.  He is scheduled to be seen soon at Mayo Clinic.  Pray that all will go well for our brother.

“Spring Forward” Saturday Night!  This coming Saturday evening remember to set your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed.  Daylight Saving Time returns in the early morning hours on Sunday, so be ready and be on time for Bible classes at 9:15!

Special Needs Day Camp:  Click here and you’ll read about a day camp hosted by the Karns Church of Christ in Knoxville for children with special needs.  “Forever His” is the theme of this year’s event, and it is an attempt to show Christ’s love to those who deal with disabilities of various kinds.  The day camp will take place on Saturday, April 6.

How We’ll Be Remembered:  *  “Deeds, not stones, are the true monuments of the great.”  (John L. Motley)  *  “She has done what she could; she has anointed my body beforehand for burial. And truly, I say to you, wherever the gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will be told in memory of her.”  (Mark 14:8,9)
