“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”  James 4:8

Daily Bible Reading: Psalm 139:1 – 141:10 (“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.)

This Week’s Memory Verse:And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.”  (Hebrews 10:24)

Remember These In Prayer:

Ron Tester remains hospitalized at Johnson City Medical Center as tests continue to be run to learn the nature of another spot that was discovered in a CT scan.  A mass was found on his brain on Monday, and a plan of action is being developed.  For now it would be best if only those who are closest friends visit; later it may be a better time for others to visit.  Ron and Bandy appreciate so much the prayers that have been offered.

Charlie Grindstaff has learned that his outpatient surgical procedure will take place on April 4.  He is thankful for every prayer that is offered for him.

Kathy Torgerson continues to heal from last week’s eye surgery.  She is scheduled to meet with her doctor today to see how her recovery is going.

Grace Muse is also recovering from her cataract surgery of last week.  A problem occurred during that surgery, so she is having to be checked every few days to make sure further surgery is not needed.

Dick Woodard, brother-in-law of Everton Weekley, came through his heart bypass surgery on Tuesday in Charleston, West Virginia.  Nada reports that four bypasses had to be performed instead of the three that had been anticipated.  She also sends their thanks for the prayers that have been offered, and ask that we continue remembering him during his recovery.

Hadley Gray, 2-year-old granddaughter of Brenda McKinnis’ friend, is at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital undergoing treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia.  An aspiration was to have been done Tuesday of her bone marrow and perhaps spinal chemo administered.  It is hoped her routine treatment will be able to be resumed in about a week.

Martha Forbes, aunt of Rebekah Hunt, has been dealing with some difficult health issues the last couple of weeks.  Pray for the Lord to bless Martha with the healing she needs.

Mary Margaret Reed, a cousin of John McKinnis, underwent surgery on Monday in middle Tennessee, and the family is quite concerned about her.  John asks that we pray for her recovery.

Nancy Norris, aunt of a friend of Cherie Doyle, has a rare form of cancer, and experimental treatments have failed.  Cherie has asked that we send up prayers for Nancy.

Open God’s Word With Us: This evening at 7:00 many of your Central family will gather at the building to study God’s word.  Please come be with us.

Collection For The Homeless:  Remember the needed items for the homeless that Cathy Carter-Bisner is collecting.  A box can be found in the lobby to place these items when you have picked them up.

Change Sometimes Necessary:  *  “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”  (Victor Frankl)  *  “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”  (2 Corinthians 3:18)
