Ron Tester is scheduled to meet today with a neurosurgeon at Duke University Medical Center to discuss the plan for dealing with the mass that was recently found on his brain.

Alvin Bailey is scheduled to meet with a cardiologist this morning at Bristol Regional Medical Center to discuss plans for treating the heart artery blockages that were recently discovered.

Thurman Dye remains hospitalized at Johnson City Medical Center as doctors continue working to reduce the fluid his body has retained.  He is feeling better, but there is still swelling in one leg.

Jay Grindstaff, son of Charlie, will travel to Cleveland Clinic later this week to begin exams in preparation for surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm.

Robin Wishon is to meet with specialists this week at the Laser Spine Institute in Tampa, Florida to seek help with her spinal problems.  She is also recovering from broken ribs suffered during a recent fall.

Royce Hutcheson, an elder of the Lord’s church in Jackson, Alabama, and a good friend of Gail and Steve Sides, is hospitalized with pneumonia.  He is also dealing with cancer.

Brittany Thornton, a young lady from our community, has been diagnosed with a mass on her brain.  She and her mother, Tina, have been to Nashville to seek help, but still are unclear about what will be done.  They have asked that we pray for answers for Brittany.  Tina is also dealing with difficult health issues.

Kathy Shoun, sister of Kenn Neal, is now back home after undergoing surgery last week to remove her appendix.
