Every first day of the week the the Central Church of Christ gathers together to worship God. If you are not familiar with the Central Church of Christ, you will find that we endeavor to use the Scripture alone as our guide for worship and Christian living. Our worship consists of: spirited a cappella singing (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16), prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17; 1 Timothy 2:1), giving of our means to further the work of the Church (1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:7), the preaching/teaching of God’s Word (II Timothy 4:2; Titus 2:1), and the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 26:26-29; Acts 20:7).
Much could be written in an attempt to define the Central Church of Christ. But the best way to know who we are and what we are about is to actually come and see for yourself. We put no pressure on visitors to give, and we don’t single out anyone. We think we know what a first-time visitor would like: To be able to witness and participate in a worship service without being made to feel uncomfortable. We hope to see you soon!
