Mary Lou Cooper hopes to hear today from her doctors details about the treatments they will recommend to address the cancer cells found in a recent biopsy.  If you’d like to send her a note, send it to 315 Bramblewood Drive, Nashville, TN, 37211.

Karen Stevens remains at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.  She will be evaluated again today to see if she is ready for skin graft surgery.

Glenn Blacklidge, husband of Becky Blacklidge, is making progress in overcoming the pneumonia he developed last week.  He continues under hospice care at Hermitage Health Care in Elizabethton.

Max Bare is recovering from pneumonia; he is at his home.

JR Bowman, father of Dan Bowman, has been discharged from the hospital in Erwin.  He had been admitted for congestive heart failure, but is doing better.

Evadna Fruewirth is now at Princeton Transitional Care after a recent hospitalization for pneumonia.  It would be best for her to have no visitors.

The family of Ivan Johns, father of Sandra Honeycutt, is mourning his passing on Saturday morning in Florida.  Sandra had traveled to be with him on Thursday, and so was able to be with him at his passing.  Pray for God’s comfort for Sandra and all of the family.

Ron Noland, neighbor to Georgie and Fred Roten, was discharged from the hospital on Friday evening and is now recovering at home following a stroke last week.

Lena Bragg, friend to June and Fred Selby, is doing better as she continues in a rehab facility.  Scans found no broken bones from her recent fall, and her cognitive abilities are slowly returning, Fred reports.

Seth Gilliam requested prayers on Sunday morning that he might not experience panic attacks in the future as he has in the past.

Serve Someone Today: Though Monday Night For The Master has not  yet resumed, it’s always a good time to serve the needs of others.  Write a note of encouragement to someone; call another to let them know you’re thinking of them; do a simple chore for another.  Being a disciple of Christ means being a servant.
