“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”  James 4:8

Daily Bible Reading: John 10:1 – 8:17 (“Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life, yet I know that it will be well with those who fear God, because they fear before Him.”)

This Week’s Memory Verse:For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”  Ephesians 2:10

Remember These In Prayer:

Linda Russell came through her heart catheterization on Monday with good results.  No blockages were found in her arteries, and no damage to her heart muscle.  Surgery to repair the leaking heart valve will now be scheduled through Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

Dave Clark will begin his chemotherapy treatments today.  He will have one treatment a week for two weeks, then off one week.  He will have four such rounds.  Keep him in your prayers.

Claudette Rhea is scheduled to undergo gallbladder surgery on Friday.  Scans will also be done to determine the nature of a spot that was recently seen on a CT scan.  Prayers would be appreciated.

The family of Jean Hayes, mother of Ann Booton, continues to mourn her passing on Sunday morning in Ohio.  You may see Jean’s obituary at this site.  Keep Ann and her family in your prayers.

Lucy Hagerty remains at Lakebridge Health Care to receive therapy following surgery last week to address infection on her leg.  She reports doing some better.  Lucy is happy to have visitors; she is in room 101.

Jan Holden, who underwent eye surgery several days ago, reports that the pain she was experiencing in that eye is gone, but her vision is blurry, something the surgeon said was to be expected.  Jan is hopeful that her vision will clear soon.

Jerry Mitchell, who also underwent eye surgery several days ago, reported on Monday that he can see out of that eye now, and is up and about.  There is still a spot in his vision that has yet to clear up.

Don Burleson, a dear friend of the Fillers and of Marie Johnson, is at Mayo Clinic to consult with specialists about the pulmonary fibrosis that was recently diagnosed.  It has been found to be an aggressive form.  Pray that effective treatments can be found.

Another Praise: We mentioned in yesterday’s Daily Focus that some for whom we have prayed have returned to worship.  Another who was with us Sunday was Gale Morton, who underwent hip replacement surgery several days ago.  We thank God she is doing better!

Looking Ahead: Monday Night For The Master will resume on Monday, March 4.  We invite anyone to join us at 6:00 for this weekly time of fellowship and service.
