Remember These In Prayer:

Kathy Torgerson came through her outpatient surgery on Wednesday to repair muscles in the eye that has been giving her problems.  She is now resting at home; it has been recommended that she have no visitors.

Grace Muse is scheduled to undergo outpatient cataract surgery today.  She did very well about a month ago when the same surgery was done on her other eye.  Pray that she will do as well this time.

Jazmine Ryan, oldest daughter of Megan and Greg Ryan, is scheduled to undergo an EEG this Friday to check for silent seizures.  Our prayers have been requested that Jazmine not be so nervous.

Hadley Gray, 2-year-old daughter of Brenda McKinnis’ friend, is at St. Jude Hospital in Memphis undergoing treatments for Acute Myeloid Leukemia.  She has developed a fever in the last several hours for which no cause has been diagnosed.  Her family is asking for fervent prayers that this fever can be brought under control.

Charlie Grindstaff will soon undergo an outpatient surgical procedure.  He asks that we be praying for good results.

The family of John Overstreet, Jr., son of John and Carol Overstreet, is mourning his death in a tragic accident in Illinois.  The father is a cousin of Donna Barkley, and both John and Carol are active members of the Lord’s church.  They have now lost two of their four children in tragic situations.  Donna asks that we send up prayers for God’s comfort and strength to be with them.

Linda Barrette has been battling a respiratory infection for the last week.  She hopes to soon be over this and be back with us in worship and Bible classes.

Don Iverson, father of our Courtney Valentine, is in a campaign in India that has already reached nearly 1,000 souls!  The campaign will continue for another three days.  Due to the rise in persecution of Christians Don asks that this information not be posted on social media.  Keep Don in your prayers, as well as all of our sisters and brothers in India.

A Letter From Violet:  We received this on Wednesday from Violet Yates: “Dear Central Church, I hope all is going well.  I am slowly getting strong enough to be able to return to church soon.  I did have another fall recently that possibly broke my nose.  Hopefully, that last fall will not cause me to miss anymore church than I have already as I miss everyone.  Thank you all for keeping me in your prayers and for being such wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ.  I am truly grateful for all the calls, cards, and visits from my friends.”  Let’s keep our dear sister in our prayers.

Birthday Coming Up: Virginia Crowder will celebrate her 94th birthday on April 12.  If you’d like to send your greetings and well wishes, send your card in care of Jan Crowder (her daughter), 1909 Liberty Square, Nashville, TN, 37215.
